We are excited to welcome the new owners of The Market at Trickling Springs (2330 Molly Pitcher Hwy) to the greater Chambersburg Community! Special thanks to the friends, family and community members for attending the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the official re-opening.

Trickling Springs was purchased by South Mountain Creamery this summer, and over the past several months, the team has been hard at work renovating and reinventing the storefront that accompanies the organic milk bottling plant. The space has been revitalized with fresh paint, new light fixtures, and interior accents that give off an inviting farm feel.

“A lot of thought, time, and effort went into every detail of the renovations,” said Tony Brusco, Owner, The Market at Trickling Springs, “from selecting staff to deciding which menu items to offer, and everything in between. We want our guests to feel at home the minute they walk through the doors.”

Guests at The Market can enjoy many of the same products as before, as well as new items, including made-to-order sandwiches, soft pretzels, ice cream made with fresh dairy products processed on-site, local honey, fresh-baked bread, and locally roasted coffee. Many of these products are artisanal, produced in small batches, and can’t be found anywhere else.

Trickling Springs was purchased by South Mountain Creamery, a thriving family-owned farm and creamery in Middletown, MD. Randy and Karen Sowers, the original owners of South Mountain Creamery, started their family-owned farm in 1981, and have since passed it down to the next generation, Tony & Abby (Sowers) Brusco and Ben & Kate Sowers. As a multi-generational family of farmers, the owners of The Market at Trickling Springs understand the importance of creating high-quality products and aim to offer healthy, nutritious food to put on your family’s table.
