The Council is bringing back the popular "Chair Parade" concept with a summer-time "Table Parade", where creatively decorated tables by area artists will be on display at local businesses from July 16-August 21.

Artists from throughout the region were invited to participate and twenty-one entrants were selected - several from the Frederick, MD area! All were invited to decorate a table with no material restrictions: creativity was encouraged! Themes chosen by artists range from famous paintings to flowers and from an African Safari to "The Luck of the Irish"! Four artists chose local themes: a Chambersburg Tromp L'oel table, a Memorial Fountain motif, Around Chambersburg and the Chambersburg Rose Rent churches. Other tables will feature peacocks, fish and butterlies!

Minimum silent auction bids on the table are $60 and artists will receive 1/2 of the final bid price; the artist whose table receives the highest bid will receive 100% of the proceeds of that table. The tables will be displayed in local businesses July 16 - August 21 with silent auction bidding at the Council to conclude at the Captiol Theatre's Pop a Cork wine festival on August 28th.
