The Chamber Travel Club is headed to Italy, the exotic beauty of Europe, from November 6-15, 2018. The trip will explore Rome, Colosseum, Assisi, Perugia, Siena, Florence, Chianti Winery, Venice, Murano Island and Milan. Travelers will enjoy the best of Italy with members of their local community while also supporting small businesses.

The tour, "Reflections of Italy" is hosted by Chamber member, Kay Estep of Kay's World Class Travel with the tour guided by Collette. The Chamber is excited to present this magical 10-day trip for only $3,999* for two people. This price covers airfare, hotels, transportation, food and much more.

“This is a perfect tour because it is a great overview of all of Italy's must-see's," said Kay Estep. "Venice is so enchanting as you work your way along the many canals and even more bridges and visit the legendary Bridge of Sighs.  I love all of Italy and cannot pinpoint just one experience.  As my daughter, Tiffany, said after accompanying me this year, it's so awesome; you just have to see it to believe the beauty and don't do it justice.’”

Upon arriving in Italy, the tour will begin in Rome, otherwise known as the “Eternal City.” The next day will start the exploration of Rome and its streets that are teeming with history and alluring culture. Half of this day is a scheduled locally guided tour of the Piazza Venezia, the expansive Circus Maximus, the renowned Piazza Navona, the Arch of Constantine and the Colosseum. For the remainder of that day, it will be up to you!

The next few days consist of visiting Assisi, the birthplace of St. Francis, the medieval town of Perugia, the beautiful and mysterious city of Siena, and then will continue your journey to Florence. When in Florence, you will be able to experience the wonder of the Renaissance with a visit to the Academy Gallery, the Cathedral of Santa Maria and many more enchanting sites.

Continuing on your adventure, the next segment of your trip will consist of visiting a historic winery in Venice, witnessing an up-close glass making demonstration on Murano Island and then make your way to St. Mark’s Square where you can choose to join a local expert to tour the square or explore the Castello Sestiere district.

As your journey comes to an end, you will tour the beautiful city of Milan, stopping at the famous Opera House La Scala, the Domo, a majestic Gothic cathedral and Milan’s well-known fashion district. Your final stop will be a visit to Milan Malpensa in the morning, then you will return home.
