Cumberland Valley Regional Development Corp.

 

In 2002, the Chambersburg Area Development Corporation and the Shippensburg Area Development Corporation joined forces to form the Cumberland Valley Regional Development Corporation (CVRDC). CVRDC owns the 363-acre United Business Park, located just off of Exit 24 on I-81.

United Business Park

United Business Park is situated in an outstanding location at Exit 24 of the Interstate 81 corridor. It is within a day's drive of nearly half of the U.S. population – 100 million people with access to various modes of transportation. Development of sewer and water service is under way. CADC Reports Community Impact Through Investment and Strategic Plan
“The main takeaway is the organization’s net worth of $12.8 million enables us to implement our strategic plan that will benefit the community,” Stephen Christian, executive director of CADC, said. “It’s important for us to focus on the needs of the community as well as the development of industrial parks that support a strong economy.”
